Vaccination Support Team

The vaccination support team provides flexible operational capacity to support Islington residents to access routine and seasonal vaccination and immunisation provision. Our small team often works across multiple short-term projects throughout the year. All our projects have a strong focus on public health to promote and protect the health of all people in the community.

Some of our projects include:

Delivering seasonal flu vaccinations to housebound and care home residents and their carers

Standing up large scale vaccination sites across Islington during the covid-19 response and vaccination delivery program

Developing a centralised call centre team to support education around vaccine preventable diseases and provide convenient access appointments at Islington based extended hours facilities

Providing flexible and rapid provision to boost vaccination capacity during local and national vaccine preventable disease outbreaks.
